Our mind is such a powerful part of us and affects our physical and emotional wellness. Just like onions our mind is made up of many layers of emotions, beliefs and memories that we collect during life.

These layers create our reference library (primarily created between the ages of 0-7) and form our pre-programmed ‘how to live’ settings for life. The primal part of your brain (the amygdala) is designed to keep you safe and constantly evaluates the risk and dangers around you. It’s like having your own 24/7 security guard! It views danger as anything that will make you feel uncomfortable, vulnerable or make you stand out. When it senses danger, the amygdala sends signals to connect to the part of your brain that controls 90-95% of what you do. This part of your brain uses your reference library and pre-programmed “how to live” settings to determine what to make you think, what to make you believe and how to make you behave.

Until you let go of emotional attachments to experiences and the recurring negative emotions, behaviour patterns and beliefs, your brain will refer to them continuously, sometimes on a daily basis.   • There’s an emotion behind every behaviour

    You were probably taught as a child how to ride your bike, how to play an instrument, learn a language, yet were you taught how to understand and manage your emotions, or your children’s emotions?  The good news is, it’s never too late to learn and it’s easy to do. The way to finding the key to thinking positively is to understand your own reference library and learn how you can let go of negative feelings associated with past or present events such as:-

    • Stress and anxiety
    • Recurring emotions - worry, guilt, fear, overwhelm, anger, sadness, vulnerability
    • Limiting thoughts - "I'm not good enough", "I don’t deserve that", “I have to put others first”
    • Stuck emotions – and physical pain

  • What to say during EFT Tapping

    During the first part of your session I will listen to your personal situation and we talk through any emotions, limiting beliefs or thoughts specific to you that you would like to work on, and what you are feeling in that moment. You may not know what you are feeling and that is fine. I will gently help you to unravel things and find a safe starting point to find the answers that are all within you.


  • Connecting you to your emotions

    I use my advanced EFT expertise, along with mindfulness techniques, to gently guide and safely connect you to your emotions and beliefs. I will create a safe space and in a gentle, effective way, help you to:-

    • Deal with different emotions, reduce the intensity and negative impact and give you more calmness and clarity
    • Get valuable insight into why you feel or behave the way you do as, as knowledge is power
    • Harness your ability to let go of the past by changing limiting beliefs and feelings to empowering ones, allowing you to move forward in your life
    • Show you effective tapping, breathing and emotion coaching skills to reduce stress and manage your emotions, whenever and wherever you are
    • Experience and fully embrace your inner wisdom and the power of your body and mind

  • Picture Tapping

    Picture Tapping brings the same benefits of traditional Tapping if you do not want to talk about how you feel or your experiences. During a Picture Tapping session, you draw how you feel. Don’t worry, no art skills are required, I guarantee you will draw the right thing every time! Then we talk about what you have drawn in the pictures whilst tapping. Picture tapping gives you another way to access the positive shifts that you can get through the traditional tapping methods. Picture Tapping can be used effectively with children


  • Self-help Wellness Tools

    At the end of each session, we work on an effective, tailored tapping tool for you, which you take away and use in your own time to continue the positive energy shifts. This means you can finally start feel the way you want to feel - every day.


  • After the Tapping Session

    Each of us experiences stress differently so we may feel different benefits from Tapping Sessions. You may feel energised, relaxed and notice that you are sleeping better. You may find your mood and sense of wellbeing improve. You may also find that other aspects of your physical and emotional wellness improve too; however, this happens on an individual basis as we are all unique. Tapping for Health

Science has shown that every thought creates a reaction in the body. So, it is no surprise that ongoing stress and emotions such as fear, anxiety and worry have a negative impact on your wellness. In this situation, we can get stuck in an emotional or physical pain cycle and look for ways, usually pills or medication, to reduce it.

Tapping therapy is not a replacement for your Doctor’s advice, however, Tapping will allow you to address the deeper emotional attachments that may be contributing to your pain, to your stress or to your specific symptoms. By combining both approaches you have the chance to achieve the lasting pain relief or symptom relief and emotional freedom that you deserve. So, then you can start to feel the way you want to feel.

EFT Tapping Appointments & Fees

For you to achieve optimal outcomes, it is key for you to experience and embed the tools into your daily life. For this reason, I offer packages rather than single sessions as this ensures I support you in the best way possible whilst you explore and enjoy the transformative benefits of EFT and Intention Tapping.

  1. EFT Tapping Appointments - Consultation and 3 x 1 hour sessions and review for £315 if paid in full (or 2 x £182.50) or Consultation and 6 x 1 hour sessions and review for £630 (or 3 x £238)

  2. Appointments take place in my wellness studio in Surbiton or online via Zoom

  3. Optimal Vitality has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please see Terms and Conditions

  4. If cancellation is received on the day of the appointment and unless it is under extenuating circumstances, the appointment fee will be charged.
